It all started eighteen stories up at the Radisson Hotel, overlooking the Ohio River…
The LKW Home Team began with a birthday celebration, a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, and a rotating hotel restaurant.
After nearly a year of “joking” about joining forces as we had each “stolen” each others clients. It only took one career visioning class to realize Lauren and Jenn complimented each other well, and each other’s strength was the others weakness, and vice versa. After a tornado warning that evacuated the entire hotel to the bottom floor, they realized their mutual love for Taking Back Sunday and kicked off the first of many planning sessions to create a Real Estate Empire – The LKW Home Team.
Attending Continuing Education classes, and bouncing ideas off of each other daily, we have fun, we ensure our clients are well represented, they feel safe and secure, and you can guarantee we will always be toting a bottle of celebratory champagne to the closing table. We want every client to feel educated, prepared and most importantly, excited about one of the biggest purchases or sales of their life.
This isn’t our first rodeo, and we promise not to treat it like another Monday at the office. We got you!

From small town girl to big city chick..
College athlete to major back surgery.. 4 colleges, 3 majors, spanning 9 years.. It took the heartache of losing her dream home for reasons she didn’t even understand at the time for Lauren to fall in love with Real Estate.
It took nearly 6 years of punching the clock in a job she was not passionate about before Lauren made the jump to Real Estate.. literally the day after graduation with her Bachelor’s Degree.
Fast forward almost 3 years from getting licensed; a successful solo career, a failed attempt at building a team, and finally making the plunge to merge with Jennifer to create the LKW Home Team in 2019, and here they are. A team of 4, over 50 lives changed in the first 6 months, and just getting started…
Lauren has her Pricing Strategy Advisor designation (PSA) and Certified Tourism Ambassador designation (CTA).
She has received her $1 Million and $5 Million Awards from the Columbus Board of Realtors; has been named Top 15 Agents on Social Media in Columbus in 2018 and 2019; was nominated The Rising Star Award for Keller Williams Classic Properties in 2017; has spoken on multiple panels; she and Jennifer were nominated by their peers for a finalist for Real Producers Marketing Content; she is a 3x graduate of the Keller Williams Coaching program – BOLD; is a Keller Williams MAPS coaching client; a member of the Associate Leadership Council, and the 2019 Culture Chair. Not only does Lauren care immensely about her clients and them being advocated for, but also her fellow agents, team members, and community.
Jennifer Kessel-White is a Realtor in the Top 1.5% of Real Estate Agents in Columbus, OH she Co-Owns The LKW Home Team with Lauren Lucas, and has 4 team members, including a Director of Operations.
Since the inception of The LKW Home Team in June of 2019, Jennifer has helped changed over 50 lives. Jennifer is a Columbus Certified Tourism Ambassador, a Designated Seniors Real Estate Salesperson, a Designated Seller Representative Specialist, and was named one of the Top 15 Agents on social media in 2018. Jennifer mostly takes on the Sellers and Listings in the Real Estate realm while Lauren assists Buyers in finding their perfect home. Although you will get to meet them both throughout the Buying or Selling process.

In 2019 Jennifer started 614 Fempreneur: A radio show aired on Sunny 95 and Rewind 103.5/104.3 and podcast project that goals to share local female business owner’s strategies, accomplishments, mistakes, and war stories. 614 Fempreneurs encourage risk, change, and fear. JKW took her passion project back to the heart of it all, and now hosts the 614 Fempreneur podcast and live interviews on Facebook @614fempreneur where she hopes to provide entrepreneurs with rewarding relationships, knowledge and courage with other female community leaders and invite female business owners to support one another, to collaborate and to succeed.
Jennifer is a single mother of two boys, Caden 5 and Elliot 2. She is a Lesbian that that focuses on support within the LGBTQ Community. While Jenn and Lauren beast mode their professional day to day work life, they also are dating each other and make a pretty damn cute couple.
Matthew David White was born and raised in Queens, New York. He moved to Columbus, OH in 1998 and has been invested in everything Columbus ever since!
His Knowledge in Building trades gives him an advantage in the Real Estate Industry.

What started as an unpaid internship for his required senior project, quickly developed into a paid position, which turned into him getting his license and is now a full time member of the LKW Team.

I grew up in Clintonville and currently reside on the South Side! I have been practicing real-estate since February of 2020 and am a member of the LKW Home Team with Keller Williams.
I have spent the last 10 years in the distribution and specialty beverage industry , maintaining relationships with vendors and clients alike to meet consumer demands in an ever-evolving market. We spend hours at the park playing ball , which mostly consists of me waiting for him to stop chasing ducks in the pond and losing said ball. Basketball is my favorite sport, and I am unfortunately a very loyal Chicago Bulls fan (hey, maybe next year). Through my love of basketball I found the Columbus Comets Special Olympics Women’s team 7 years ago , and have been coaching ever since. They are like family to me and I am always so excited to see my athlete’s development from year to year.
